During the launch workshop at APFITA 2025, it was formally announced that the Japan Plant Phenotyping Network (JPPN) will serve as the Secretariat for the newly formed Pan Asia Pacific Phenomics Network (PAPPN).
Role of the Secretariat
As the Secretariat, JPPN will be responsible for:
- Coordinating communication between member nodes.
- Organizing future meetings and workshops.
- Managing the network's digital presence and resources.
- Facilitating data sharing initiatives across the region.
Prof. Wei Guo and the team at the University of Tokyo / JPPN expressed their commitment to building a sustainable network that promotes regional cooperation, data sharing, and joint research in phenomics.
